Saxophonist Slater began crafting his art through years of attending classes, tutoring with distinguished musicians, performing in numerous bands, and teaching a wide range of students.

Frances Campese is passionate about children playing music! She believes music enriches children’s lives through joy and a sense of achievement. Frances wants children to have fun with music and to do this she creates a fun yet structured atmosphere.
Frances has played music all of her life. She is an accomplished trombone player and has performed with many community bands. She has been performing with the Cameraygal Wind Symphony for 25 years! Frances was a founding member, band leader and trombone player with Horns Plus Big Band. Frances currently teaches trombone and euphonium at Eastwood Heights Public School.
Frances also plays the Ukulele. She regularly performs with the West Ryde Ukulele Club and teaches ‘Uke’ at a number of schools in the Ryde/Eastwood area. Frances said: “The Uke is an incredibly useful tool to teach children basic music skills—it’s affordable, easy to play, and creates an energy filled, fun learning environment. It is also especially good for young children. But anyone can enjoy and learn the Uke.”
Frances is a warm teacher who sees the potential for musical expression in everyone.
